the room featured high ceilings and beautiful period decor i also had a great balcony overlooking a canal the room was spacious and offered ample space for luggage and movement the building's architecture added to the unique experience.

the room had recently been refurbished with quality materials. the decor had fine finishing detail and was in excellent condition, which i liked. i found the extra high ceilings.

the access felt confusing. the check-in occurred in an actual hotel, but the rooms were in another building. also, the ac only worked on the maximum level, or not at all.

the location was really superb, a few steps away from main attractions. the cleanliness was very good, everything felt tidy. i was especially grateful for the air conditioning (it really saved me). the room had a nice venetian style that i appreciated.

the room i stayed in felt a bit small, though it was suitable for my few nights stay.

I found a few things less than ideal. Hauling luggage up several flights of stairs is no fun. also, the room overlooked a wall, not the picturesque canal view i had hoped for. it was a bit disappointing.
